The Foundation is interested in building the capacity of nonprofit organizations and underwriting efforts to improve the effectiveness of local and regional government.  

Specifically, the Foundation's interests encompass:

• Supporting projects for capacity-building of nonprofit and civic organizations, including:
  • The Nonprofit Management Funds of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County.
  • An annual Report Card on Charitable Giving.
  • Other projects of interest to the Trustees that are of timely importance.
• Underwriting studies and other consensus-building strategies to improve community services and policies in Foundation priority areas.
• Building regional cooperation in areas of Foundation interest.
